# Octonote AI docs

> The workspace for humans and agents: notes and canvases side by side, written by you, Claude Code or Codex, and published as beautiful pages.

Octonote is where technical explanations live: a note with math, code and diagrams beside an infinite canvas. Write it yourself, or ask Claude Code or Codex to. Then publish any of it as a page people actually read.

## The four things you make

| | What it is |
| - | - |
| [Note](https://docs.octonote.ai/guides/notes.md) | A document with headings, lists, code, math, mermaid diagrams and figures from your canvases. |
| [Canvas](https://docs.octonote.ai/guides/canvases.md) | An infinite whiteboard for flows, maps and architecture diagrams. |
| [Project](https://docs.octonote.ai/guides/projects.md) | One note and one canvas, side by side. |
| [Notebook](https://docs.octonote.ai/guides/notebooks.md) | A folder that holds notes, canvases and projects. Publish one and it becomes a small website. |
